Snow in May??
Posted by FlyItLikeYouStoleIt on Thursday, May 2, 2013 1:20 PM

Holy buckets! Yes, I live in Minnesota and yes we're plenty used to ample amounts of that white stuff. We've had measurable snowfalls in every month of the year except August, in my area. But this???? They closed the schools today!! Never in my life have we got this much in one snowfall in May. As I'm typing  this at 1:15 PM, 2nd of May, 2013, we already have about 7 inches and it's still coming down. I'll stick some pics in here later. Crazy, man, just crazy . . . . . .

No snow, but lots of rain and thunderstorms at the moment. We're on the second floor so the flooding will have to be serious before we close early.

Been one snow storm a week here in Denver all through April and into may.  Been a blessing on our lawns but annoying for our gardens......

yep, sitting in Kansas City, MO on vacation and waiting for the snow.   I'll try to see the WWI museum tomorrow and I'm about 13 miles or so from SprueBros. warehouse.  Do I need anything??

Been there, done that. In 1978, the year of the Great Blizzard, we had 10 inches of snow in central Massachusetts, where I lived at the time.  The last few days have been near perfect, however.

Well, we ended up getting just a hair less than a foot right here. Rochester MN got 16 inches. 18 in Red Wing. Shattered the records for May snow storms

Ours is NOT all gone. Temp is hovering right around freezing. Just a couple pics of yesterday's white stuff. Just so wrong, it shouldn't look like this in May

scary...... orbs!!!

snow is all gone as of yesterday and it's in the  70's. Looks like everybody survived. Orioles, Hummingbirds, Rose Breasted Gross Beaks...... they're all still here
