Can we count to 2000 ?

I have to say , this is really neat

I have been going through this backwards and am absolutely fascinated by all the inventiveness I see .Now I know why I like this Site .The sheer and broad selections would have a novice or non - model builders head spinning with the photos and variety of equipment shown .

I do notice someone has an affinity for trains though .That is neat as well as a pleasant surprise .You see , I docent at the NEW BRAUNFELS , Texas , Train Museum . We have a PORTER engine - A MO-PAC caboose and a really nice DINING CAR as well as a Hi-CUBE boxcar which contains offices and a 24' -" N " scale layout that runs "DCC " as well as regular trains .

Now that said , I am a member , I think of I.P.M./S. too (did I re-new this year ?) And I enjoy the model realm .There is so much to learn even after doing it for over forty years and such .I learn new things every time I visit here.

I don't at this time have an entry to find that I can post that has the right number , But , I will continue to follow the posts .This is fun .        Tanker-builder

Hey !

I just thought of something. I did some years back , have that number of kits .Then I got some tables at a model show and left with money , but no models . Does that count ? I think at the time I had 2004 models .

I agree with you on the inventiveness that's been shown. I've seen a bunch of cool stuff I never knew existed.

I confess I've thrown in some of those train selections. I don't know much more about their technical details than I did when playing with the old Lionel set back in the '60s, but I have the same childlike love of their sheer power and spectacle that I did then.

I've been to the great rail museum in Strasburg PA and the B&O here in Baltimore. Never been out your way (so far), Tanker-builder, but if I ever do, I'll give your museum a look-see. Sounds like a great collection.
