I am so glad you all got a kick out of that .

Yup , I put the Fruilmodel tracks away . For another day when " Track Madness " hits . As to the cure .Weel , will you accept a " Glue Bomb car ? It looked so gorgeous , flames consuming it as it learned to fly off my porch rail with a " slingshot " type apparatus ! .I feel so much better now , I can look for Mr. Sanity at my leisure . I think I saw him sneak up when I opened the very old box I recieved the other day with REVELL'S - U.S.S. LEXINGTON in it . Ah , the curative powers of unmolested plastic with a slight tang of " Tamiya " glue . All , kidding aside .I have had folks tell me I must be nuts at my age " playing with those glue together toys " ( how little they know ) " Their words struck a chord , sooo , I just played " harder and more furiously " . Modeling is a relief valve that if we are smart , we won't cap for more steam .

Old engineer's admonition there.  "Hey , Sanity !  Get down off that ladder before you fall " Yes , you , with the old kit in your hands " Knew I'd find Sanity , Just had to look for those old Bandai and Revell kits !  Model- On    Tanker - Builder

Whoa ! !  Holy cow, tanker! All of us in here have some degree of sanity deficiency (precursor to and symptom of the model building addiction I think) but you're about to lose it man! QUICK, go to your local dept store or hobby shop and pick up one of those Testors quick build "models" or snap tite kits, throw it together as fast as you can, paint it some outlandish funky scheme (your least favorite color, maybe) then LIGHT IT ON FIRE ! ! You'll feel much better.

Hurry, man, or you'll end up like some of us over in the Butcher Bird GB and find yourself buying stock in Eduard Models or wake up one day in Austria building ten versions of the same machine simultaneously  Wink

(OK, it's 8 , not 10 .... sorry)

Bill.

On the bench:  Lindberg 1/32 scale 1934 Ford Coupe and a few rescue projects.

In queue:  Tamiya 1/35 Quad Tractor or a scratch build project.

Hi :

Don't let the title fool you .I am Not looking for a model or model part .I am looking for something more intangible .Yup , I am looking for my sanity .I thinkI lost it when I bought FRUILMODELS track set to fit the  "Dicker Max " Yup , that ubiquitious kit of the machine the Germans only fielded , what was it ? two of them .

Somewhere in the Fruilmodel box my sanity went cattywhompus ! Who would've thunk ? Gees all these small track parts and my bad eyesight ! Whatta combination , has anyone seen my sanity ? It's ship shaped and kinda grey and confused looking .

Oh , and it thinks there should be more water on the planet for ships . It believes retired armor , Not in museums should be converted to research and road building thingys . Now as to planes .Every plane that's restored is great , My sanity thinks there should be more though . Help me find it before it's too late and I sit in a corner babbling about Bandai Armor kits in 1/48 scale . Please  ? ? ?  LOL ! LOL ! LOL !This tale of woe brought to you Courtesy of the old  - - - - - Tanker- Builder
