Posted by tankerbuilder on Thursday, October 24, 2013 9:14 AM

Seeing as how we don't have a swap corner .Even after all this time I haven't found one .

I am looking for a companion to my other REVELL ships . One I have always gotten as a has been or " Glue Bomb " is this model .I sure would like one in pristine condition to build .Nope , Don't need the box , Have two of those . I don't know the rules here , but on this , if you will contact me offline through messages We can communicate about this . Please ?

if you cant find the Forrest Sherman kit, try looking for the USS John Paul Jones as well. Same kit, different decals.

don't forget the decatur as same model as the other 2.  got about 6 of those models off ebay in the past year & in the process of rebuilding them into various configurations of those ships.

Ah yes, USS Decatur... I had wanted to say that there was another boxing out there. I think that Revell Germany also issued this kit in West German markings as well.

When you get to looking for different releases of a ship kit,,,,,,or when looking for a ship or sister and you don't know if a kit existed,,,,,look at Rajen's ship list

www.quuxuum.org/.../shiprevs.html

if a mold was updated to change ships or depict an upgrade, they tell that also,,,,,,,they don't always have the latest and greatest releases,,,,,,,,but, if it is a re-release, like the two "new" Essex class models,,,,,,,,you can get all the info about the model before it even hits the shelves
