95% or more of Revell kits issued nowadays are essentially reissues of older kits from their molds inventory. Unless you hear a huge buzz about a new tooled kit of whatever subject coming out, most likely it will be a repop like this. Not a trick, just a simple fact. I think the last "new" kit they issued was the Ventura a couple of years ago.

At least they got the dust off of it.  That  is a sorry trick to pull, though.

All I can say is DISAPOINTMENT!!  Today I received the "New" 1/48 Revell AD-5 (A-1E) Skyraider.  When opening and inspecting the kit I found it's nothing more than a dusted off re-release of the ancient Matchbox kit.  All I can say is don't waste your money unless you are desperate to model this subject.
