Need help with school project

Gentlmen,
I am working on an assignment about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It will be a presentation to my classmates and a bunch of health care professionals.
Would anybody care to share their story, either here or PM me if you want to keep it private. I need to know what happened, how did you cope with it, did you receive any treatment, does it affect your life now etc.
Keep in mind that PTSD is not limited just to soldiers, anybody who has witnessed a stressful situation can be affected such as policeman, firefighters or if you have just seen an accident, fight, assault etc.
