Ain't nothin' "potential" about it - it IS mind-numbing, and body-numbing!!  Propeller Does wonders for athritis pain, and a bad back............ I prefer Dos Equis myself (any variation). Heineken is a very close second...... I only have some about once or twice a year, though. I'm on the road so much that I hardly have the opportunity to enjoy it.

Good for you DD! It's now the weekend and evening, so go enjoy a cool refreshing (and potentially mind numbing) beverage in honor of this milestone.

(....)

Anyone know how many posts it takes to change the medals from dark gray/black to bronze?

At 3000 they turn orange. So in 16 years you could have orange stars below your screen name!

mmhhh, maybe I should spend  more time offline, take a hobby, like building model aircraft...

Keep em coming DD.

Bill, I think on that occasion it was fixed and the missing post's were credited back. There was an occasion a few years back when a few post's were deleted and our post's count went down a bit, but as you say, no biggie.

Thanks, Bish! Will do.

Hey, Devil Dawg, congrats on the 1000 mark !!  Would you have hit the 1000th earlier if it was not for the glitch or something that subtracted some from our counts a few months back? I know that my count went from slightly under 400 posts to 250 at that time. No biggie but mildly disappointing.

Thanks, Bill! I didn't know about the glitch. If I lost any, I never knew it. I just started paying attention to the postings count recently.

Don Stauffer

Did you track all your posts, or does something show how many posts you have made?

You know, Don, I didn't really pay attention to them until just a few months ago, and noticed that I was closing in on the 1,000 mark. And I just happened to notice that when I ran my cursor over the medals, it showed my postings count.

Anyone know how many posts it takes to change the medals from dark gray/black to bronze?

Tojo, you don't know how bad I want to get home and work on a kit! Right now, I'm in Macon, GA, for work, and was in Augusta, GA, yesterday and today, as well. Just got home from Georgia this past Sunday after attending my youngest son's wedding, then was back on the road starting Tuesday morning. I've already put 700 miles on the company car since yesterday....... Haven't been able to touch a kit in quite a while now due to work commitments that keep me on the road. Thanks for the compliment!

No biggie says the guy with 9348 posts.  Ha-ha... just kidding Bish.  If even a quarter of them are as helpful as the hundred or so I've seen, you've earned those 5 bronze stars!
