It  was saddening to hear that another Easy company member has answered the final roll call and reported for eternal duty joining all the other hero of WW2 that went before him.

WWII vets in general are leaving us quickly, someone who was 17 in 1945 is going to be 86 this year, and that's the youngest,so enjoy them and honor them while we can

Sad indeed, I am just finishing off reading "Bill and Babes'" book "Brothers in Battle". Sad day indeed.

I was saying to a friend earlier that the original Band Of Brothers has really started to thin these last couple years.  *** Winters, Babe Heffron, Shifty Powers and now Wild Bill.  Pretty indicative of reality I guess, in which the World War 2 generation are finally coming to the ends of their lives, but still sad regardless.

My sister told me about his passing this morning. Sad to hear since we are both Band of Brothers fans. His good friend Babe will be there waiting for him.
