Great LHS in Dallas, Texas!
Posted by BarrettDuke on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 10:46 PM

I finally made my trip to Dallas, Texas. When I asked earlier if anyone here could recommend a LHS in the DFW area, I got no responses. That had me concerned. I couldn't imagine there weren't any of the old style LHS in the whole city. My initial efforts on the Internet turned up nothing, as well. After I got here, I did more searching and I finally found a fantastic LHS. It's called Wild Bill's Hobby Shop. Great name, eh! It's packed to the ceiling with kits and other supplies. If you live in or near this LHS, you really need to go by there. Don't let the exterior of the building scare you off. The owner is Ed. Great guy. I asked him if he sells on the Internet. He said no and doesn't plan to. He prefers to meet the people he sells to! The address is 535 E. Shady Grove Road, Irving, TX 75060. Phone is (972) 438-9224. If you go, tell him the guy from Baltimore recommended the place.

There's also a better-than-average Hobby Town in Dallas. It's at 8041 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231. Phone is (214) 987-4744. They have a really FANTASTIC selection of WW II models and lots of supplies. They even have a discount section.

Enjoy!
