Yes he served....4 years as a POW in Italy for refusing to cooperate with the Italian occupiers.

Glad you like them gentlemen Smile. I found them in my grandma's attic last week while visiting. I then thoroughly searched all other boxes and bags in hope of finding something more, but nothing else. Sad

5 Reichsmark, unfortunately, there is no year on it.
