"Frozen in Time" book...maybe they will finally come home soon...

Just finished reading this book, I couldn't put it down. In case you haven't read it, here it is in a nutshell. A US transport c-53 goes down in Greenland in 1942. A B-17 sent to search for it also goes down. A Coast Guard's Grumman Duck sent to find and evacuate them also goes down. Some crew survives, some don't. In 2012 a search crew finds the Grumman Duck, but has no time to excavate and possibly retrieve the bodies.

I e-mailed the author, Mitchell Zuckoff to ask him if any further expeditions are planned and if yes when. He kindly answered to me, here is part of the e-mail relating to my question:

" The 2014 Duck Hunt expedition should reach Koge Bay early next week (WeeGee left yesterday for Iceland, en route to Greenland). I'll be monitoring the work from here in Boston as I finish a new manuscript. With luck, and good weather, I'm hoping this will be the year"

Good luck to them....
