Never saw the movie but then again, I never read Capt. America comic books in my younger days. I did see The Amazing Spider Man. I liked the first Spiderman version (with Toby McGuire) better. Both tell different scenarios of how Peter Parker became Spiderman, Spiderman involves Jameson the newspaper editor, Amazing Spiderman involves a Police Commissioner acting like Jameson, etc...
Now if they can bring Carnage into the fold against Spiderman....
Aussie modellerHave any of you seen captain America 2? If so, have you seen the 2 end credits scenes? If not, please feel free to ask me, and if anyone of you have any questions about marvel movies, please ask Cheers
Let me guess - you're in the end credit scenes, right?

Build one at a time? Hah! That'll be the day!!
I have a fairly extensive comic book collection beginning in the mid 70s-early 80s through the end of the century. I stopped collecting around 2000-2001, mainly because the two main companies (DC & Marvel) decided to reboot their characters to bring them inline with the current generation. The end credit scenes show what comic book continuity considers two of the Avenger members from the 1960s thru the 1980s. Back then the Avengers were basically a comic that tried to keep lame superheroes relevant (characters that couldn't carry their own titles).
The Avengers were best known for finding and reviving Capt. America in the 1960s after he was killed off at the end of WW2.
I'm still waiting for "Arm Fall Off Boy" to hit the big screen.
Hey Rob, like your new avatar. Thanks for your service and enjoy your retirement.

Actually, no. There is a second scene at the very end where Bucky (the winter soldier) visits the captain America exhibition and is seen reading a plaque about himself
