Now you have pulled the thread "revell"  from this topic? Why? Why do all the threads that are not all happy get deleted? Why bother in investing at all in this forum?  That is probobly why the postings and members that reply are getting so low. Thanks Aaron.

Yes wrong thread, but will say I fixed it with a restart-logout-login.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Aaron, did you know the link to the forum is missing from the banner at the top of the home page?  Can you fix it?

Hi Aaron , you might be referring to a post that I began .I thought it was fairly innocuous but sort of took on a twist of it's own. I never meant for it to devolve into the sort of discussion it turned into. Mike

To all Forum members,

I am surprised and disappointed that I have to make this post after all this time, but recent events apparently require a refresher course on what is expected of Forum members and what is not permitted and actively discouraged.

POLITICS and RELIGION should not be discussed on the FSM Forums. That includes anything related to these subjects; I am not going to provide a list because that will simply flame the fire. If you have a question about a subject, one, don't post it, and two, ask me.

Now for the consequences: If you start a thread with a political or religious bent it will be removed from the Forum and you WILL BE BANNED from the Forums. If you hijack another person's thread with politics or religion, the whole thread will be removed — we don't have the time to pick through threads to remove problem posts — and you WILL BE BANNED. If you bait another member into a flame war, you WILL BE BANNED. Ultimately, if it continues to be an issue, we will close the Ready Room and anything unrelated to modeling will be forbidden. It's not a step we wish to take, but we're willing to do it.

This Forum is about modeling, our shared hobby, and we don't want differences of opinion and a lack of civility to disrupt that. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact me via PM or email, askinner@finescale.com.

Regards, Aaron
