Great News!!
Posted by Hunter on Saturday, February 4, 2017 12:12 PM

Hello everyone.....

I AM GOING TO BE A DAD!!

I got home this morning from my work week and was pleased to walk in and smell Mrs. Anderson's waffles and bacon. As I was enjoying this wonderful breakfast she placed a set of booties next to my coffee cup.

I was delighted too hear the news and have spent the last couple of hours calling everyone to inform them.

Hey..........wait a minute, this is going to cut into my modeling money (LOL)

CongratulationsBalloons, the new home obviously agrees with you.   Oh yeah, better get the stash built up now, time to spend on building will go way down as well.  But the good side is you have someone to pass on the interest and skills to.

Good for you! And your other half (she will be doing the hardest parts!) All I can say for advice is to savor every minute of their lives. It will pass so quickly... And yes, this will affect your hobby time Wink

Congratulations and God bless you, your wife and child with health and happiness.  Kids are great, but they do eat into hobby time.  Nothing feels better than when your child smiles up at you and says Da Da.  It doesn't feel as nice at 3 AM, but it still does.

Congrats Hunter, you are on a whole new adventure and dont worry, there will be time for modeling because you will have someone to share it with.  Best modeling times I had was with the kids when they were very young, slapping old kits together that I pulled from the stash, and painting them in all sorts of wild colors using tempra paint and getting into a paint fight.

Congratulations Hunter, that is awesome news! I have three and wouldnt trade them for a thing...well most of the time!

Yes, it may take up some of your build time, but like others have said, boy or girl, you have something you can teach them!

On the Bench:  Lots of unfinished projects!  Smile
