Well I found out what happened with Photobucket. Fox purchased it for $250 million (2007) and realized it was hemorrhaging money. The sold it to a Seattle based technology start up company, Ontela, for a deal at $34 million, $26 million less than its current value(2009). They also figured out it was hemmorraging money. So that's where we're at right now. Ontela made a bad investment and decided on probably the worst decision to keep the investment from failing.
Ultimately this is a horrible disaster for them. They really thought they had the deal of the century there, and now they think they've got all of us by the balls.
Some lessons have to be learned the hard way.
