I will have some serious re-aranging to do but the shed... " SHE IS MINE !!!!!!"

Afew shots of the pile of kits and tools scattered so deep I can't walk anywhere.

The big black trunk is FULL of kits and at the moment it's also my workbench.

Sorry. That last shots a bit blurry.....      must have been to exited about the new digs.

Good for you, looks like a cool place for modeling "cave" Yes. That "no trespasing" sign, does it reffer to the kitty too? Smile Kitties and models don't really mix Smile.

What a great area! I hope the weather is moderate for you. Very rustic! Now you can have it just the way you want for modeling. I have most of the basement for myself. I don't complaing but it's hard to find time just to build, the gang follows me down there. I'm glad to have them though! Enjoy and let us see when you are all finished.

Looks to be a real peaceful place for a shop - we lived in AZ for about 15 yrs and remember the SE area well. Enjoy your time and space!

Very nice,a blank canvas to do what you want. Will it be climate controlled,I would look into a mini-split if you can afford it.

Now that is cool! A dedicated building to build models; it does not get much better than that! I love it.

Thats Edgar Allen Housecat. He keeps me from throwing stuff ( because he will chase it .)

He is one of nine "resedent" cats here at Demon's Hollow Asylum. The others are not allowed anywhere near my stuff.

Will it be climate controlled

As you may recall I had some trouble a few months back with "exploding" paint due to the heat.

Turns out that roof vents only work if you OPEN them and dont stack stuff in the way of them.

I do have a small generator that I will be using for light's, tool's ,and a small air conditioner.

And of course the "required" T.V. ( I gots to have my movies!)

A dedicated building to build models;

Yep !  10 X 20   but for a little while I have to share the shed with some construction materials and the roto-tiller.

Looks great LT. My cat Rosco has learned that parts are toys. Now I have to put everything back in it's box at night or else I have to look for them. At least he isn't eating them or leaving toothmarks. So thats a plus?.Huh?

It's all fun and games untill someone eats the ship rigging.

You DO NOT want to know how that turned out the next day.

I used to have two cats. When I moved the bench from the cold/hot/damp basement to a spare bedroom, I repainted the screen door I had replaced on the porch and put it on the bedroom. Didn't have to close the door to keep the cats out, kept the air moving, could hear the comings and goings in the house (a rancher).

So LT, your cat likes to chase things? Ya say he keeps you from throwing things, does he think he's a retriever? Have you tried throwing him??( JUST KIDDING!), perhaps he would be so confused ya wouldn't see him for awhile. To answer your question about how does 2 become 12, we sir it's called multiplication. My guess if ya threw, JUST KIDDING!), Edgar nature might thin the herd a bit. As for the Original Topic, you lucky devil. Nice digs buddy.

That reminds me of an old Monty Python sketch.........

" How does the cat get in the bucket?".......

" I fling her!"

nature might thin the herd a bit.

Actually I "thin the heard"....... by standing in Wal-marts parking lot on a Saturday afternoon and shouting at the top of my lungs....

FREE KITTYS!!!              FREE KITTYS!!!     IF YOU HAVE MICE I HAVE THE SOLUTION !!!

EACH KITTY GARUNTEED  TO HAVE A TAIL !!!   Ect.   Ect.

I'm like a carnival barker. And the whole thing is like a sideshow.

( I have never taken more than an hour to find homes for kittys.)

Worked most of the day and finally found the floor of the shop. Thought I would give you guy's the " two bit tour.

Sorry. The first shots are sideways.... couldnt figure out how to fix it.

Just lean a bit to the right. About 90 % should do it.

A few automotive kits.

Some 1/87 scale trane stuff.

Reasearch material.

Paints.

Afew tools.

" Gee LittleTimmy.... whats in the trunk???

The Cutty Sark takes up the whole bottom layer of the trunk.

You can never have too many decal's.

Now I just have to clear out the other 20 feet of the shed and we will be a "happy camper".

Nice shed, Tim! Hopefully you've already got the small air-conditioner running in there, as plastic will not last long in that kind of heat without warping beyond repair. Your cans of paint will take quite a bit of heat before they explode, but that plastic.......not nearly as much.

Hope you get a lot of builds done in the shed! One other thing to add - an Army cot.

Aw Timmy !

You sure know how to hurt a guy . An AMT/ERTL Transtar Eagle Conventional !! And a REVELL - Pine Island ! Haven't been able to find either one down here for a while . My shed was the same as yours . I did have two lofts though . At either end . For stash storage .

Then I insulated the heck out of it , Dug a trench and the electrician did his magic ! I cut a hole and installed the biggest Air Conditioner/Heater I could find . I even had a hole with filters for the paint area ! . Now I have a table in my room  .

I am sure you will appreciate the space and the Man/Kitty cave feeling . My feline just likes to lay where she can see what I am doing and chase small parts that go zing . She will stand by it and yell only as Siamese cats can do ,  I have found a lot of model parts and small LEGOS that way .

I hope you enjoy it . Oh , I'll see that model in my dreams . T.B.       Although it seems cats do know one kind of math ( Multiplication ) , what do models know ? Geez , I have thinned my stash at least four times and it comes back to haunt me for more space !

Gee  , another note . I did all the above by exchanging skill and labor . Even for the shed !

Would it ease your pain..... or make it worse.......to let you know I totally  "butcherd" the decks on the Pine Island ,When I removed the cast on railings to replace them with P.E.?

Thats why it's still in the box. Since 2003. B.T.W. it's the 1966 release.

The sleeper is complete on the International..... the rest of the kit is still on the trees.

Do I dare tell you what I did to the original Revell Constitution I had?

It's only clean because I havent started anything yet.

Dont follow my "lead" .... you will only suffer "Thumbprint's" and missing header's .
