Corsair Photoshoot Last Night...Enjoy...
Posted by fotofrank on Sunday, August 20, 2017 8:43 AM

I thought I'd share a couple of pictures I took last night. Route 62 and I went to Warbird Adventures late yesterday to photograph an FG-1D Corsair. The airplane had been at Warbird Adventures for about a year to have a new engine put on. A small group of photographers was given rare access to the airplane before it heads home next week.

Night shots are always "tricky" but you NAILED it !!!

My favorite is the pic with the wings folded. That would make an awsome T-Shirt.

Thank you for sharing these !

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

I think my camera setting for the pictures was ISO 100, f4, 20 seconds.

That is awsome Frank. You captured the power of that aircraft.

We never could have dreamed of that in 1903.

The Corsair leaves Kissimmee this week for points northeast. It will be appearing at an airshow, I think in Delaware, in the next month.

Hmm... for some reason, I've seen those photos before - or similar to them. Regardless, they're great shots.

You may have seen other aircraft photographed is a similar manner but I guarantee that my photograph is an original by me! Have a look at my Flickr page to see that I do a lot of aviation photography: https://www.flickr.com/photos/fotofrank01/
