I enjoy living here. I'm just outside of Memphis, so the employment opportunities are better, as it would be in Jackson or the gulf coast. Not so much in the rural areas. Of course with that, the crime rates are higher in the urban areas, but that's not unique, you just have to avoid those areas. In my area Oxford is really nice, college town, and so is Hernando, my county seat. Gulf Coast is tourist oriented, and you're within two hours of Florida or even New Orleans.
