Cincinnati Scale Modelers put on the event, and they do a good job.  It's not huge, but it's a pretty sizable event.  There are quite a few vendors, and it makes for a fun day.  I have no connection to the Cincinnati Scale Modelers, but I'm tempted to stop in on one of their meetings.

Here's a link to their page.  Look under their "events" tab for info on the show.

Is it worth two hours of drive time?  Yes, I think so.  I think you'll have about four hours of fun.  It's not like Ohio has a ton of modeling events.

Also, there are always some very impressive models displayed there.

I joined the Cincinnati Scale Modelers club earlier this year, and I will be at the contest. I can't tell you what to expect since this will be the first time I'll be attending. The link that riddleusmc provided also has a newsletter on the front page that gives directions and information about the contest. Hope to see you there.

I didn't enter any models in the contest last year.  It was enough fun to walk around and look at others' work.  Plus, I hit up the vendor tables with enthusiasm.  I will enter at least two this year, and maybe I'll take as many as four.

Last year's show was an inspiration while I rejoined the hobby after a long hiatus.

Well Armor 2.0, did you enjoy it?

I had fun.  I ended up taking 5 models, but one was just for the display table.  I spent too much money at the vendor tables, but I think everybody does that.
