My best friend gave me this last night for my birthday. It's an authentic Gallipoli Star medal with a Palestine campaign bar. This was a medal for valor developed by the Ottoman Empire. It was first introduced in 1915 during the Gallipoli campaign of WW1. She wins best gift ever!!
