Thanks, Hunter. I do take a lot of airplane pictures and I enjoy sharing them. I'm also a real fan of the A-10. The generals have been trying to get rid of the A-10 since it went operational in 1979(?), because it's cheap ($18 million per copy) to build and it's ugly. The generals think that the F-35 ($95 million per copy) can replace the A-10. I don't think so. As has been said about the B-2 Spirit, when the last B-2 is delivered to Davis-Monthan for dry storage, the crew will go home on a B-52. When the last F-35 goes into storage out in the Arizona desert, a flight of A-10s will do a fly-over to say goodby.
I think my favorite picture is the banking Blackhawk helicopter with the airman sitting in the open side door. That takes major kahonnies!
