Mort's strip was always very enjoyable to me, until the"PC Crowd" got to intimidating him a few years back, and it was watered down to third grade "humor."  Sad.

How active has Mort been lately? The by-line is Mort & Greg Walker, so I assume there has been help.

Bettle did give us a grin over the plight of a buck private over the years.

 I do believe I shall miss him .It seems I grew up with Beetle , Sarge and Otto .RIP Mort . Keep them laughing !
