I have been thinking of scratching a Falcon Heavy.  Went looking (on Google) for scale drawings yesterday- not much luck.  I suppose since it is not a NASA bird, I won't find drawings on their sites.  Anyone know of a decent scale drawing for that bird?

I may be able to put together something from the rudimentary drawings I did find, plus photos, but would sure like to find something better.

Space is international...

So if we hacked it and stole the tesla....we'd be space pirates!

Thanks,

John

I didn't know this happened but was able to find some video online as a result of this thread.

Thank you, Ed. Yes

Tuned at it at work. Absolutely fantastic. The landings of the boosters in the center of the circle was amazing.

The "Don't Panic" on the dashboard was a clever touch.

Is "hitch-hiking "allowed in orbit ? Or only further out in the Galixy ?

That was awesome! Great stuff to see it all streamed live! The simultaneous landings of the twin boosters was fantastic to see live. Then seeing the roadster up there in space- the opening story of Heavy Metal before my very eyes... a car in space!!!! And rockets landing standing up!!!! Sci fi and fantasy is becoming reality. What a day!

We live less than 60 miles west of the Cape. I walked out my front door and watched the Falcon Heavy go! Video of the Tesla roadster with its "pilot" are just too cool.

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

Awesome coverage for sure! Edge of chair stuff! Wow! Two boosters landing together at the same second while the driver of the Tesla sets it on cruise for a billion year trip orbiting the Sun.
