TB

Just to be safe test one of the small decals you won't be using. Many times the decals look ok till they hit the water then surprise!

Hi Don ;

 What puzzles me is this .After P.T.109 the Higgins totally disappeared . I believe it was the original P.T 212 . You are right about the classic cars though . Some of the best looking out there even if they were a somewhat 1/24 in scale .

Back in the day Monogram turned out some kits that were as good as or better than anything else on the market.  Even today their old classic car kits are as good as they come- by classics I mean their Duesenberg, Packard, Cadillac, etc.

I guess it shows that even producing kits is as much art as science.  Even today, some of their kits (now Revell, of course) are masterpieces like the PT-17 and the KK Midget race car.

I've built this plane twice. As a kid, it was molded in gray and came with Vietnamese air force markings, red/yellow/blue that look like USAF stars & bars. It also came with underwing armament.

The next it only had trainer marking and was white. This one came with a ground crewman with a fire extinguisher.

Hello all you styrene addicts .

   How many of you have gone to shows and flea markets with not a hint of looking for any kind of model ?

 I did this today . Now although the instructions say Revell - Monogram , this , I think is a jewel .

 Do you remember a time when the T-28 was popular as an Air Force Trainer ? Okay now , This one does have a sliding canopy and working landing gear . But Not with the propeller

 Yes this little scudder is 100% complete even down to the Decals ! It also has three figurines to go with it . A pilot/instructer , Student pilot and flight line mechanic are also included .

 They stand 1 and 3/16 of an inch  tall  . Now here,s the kicker on the side of the box Like the real old days there's other kits pictured .

 I stand vindicated to some who've argued that MONOGRAM Never , did a Cessna 180 on floats . It's there in all it's printed glory !

 Oh, the Decals are is perfect useable condition ! The box is a little year weary but it's still good looking ! Oh , did that styrene smell good along with the memories it gave . I will , Like the " Atomic Cruiser - " Long Beach " build this with pleasure !
