Any Russian translators out there?

I'm building Alanger's Yask-7DI / 9.  This slogan is painted on the side and I'm curious about what it says. It was supposedly flown by I. Pashayev of the 32 GIAP.

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.

Hello!

I'm not so sure if it's in Russian, looks a little suspicious to me. Maybe it's in Ukrainian? I'll show it to my friend at work, who speaks Ukrainian, let's see what she says. From what I see it's roughly "from the workers of the Kiev city to the front"

Have a nice day

Paweł

Hello!

I have got the answer from my friend at work. As I suspected - it's in Ukrainian and it says: "From the (workers) citizens of the city of Kiev - for the front"

Have a nice day
