Yesterday after getting a haircut and having some time before a dentist appointment I visited my local hobby shop..http://www.tedshobbyshop.com
Standing there drooling over the HMCS Snowberry model a fellow walks up and says. "I am looking for a model of a Spitfire."
I take him down the row to the aircraft models.
He has lots of questions re scale size ect.
We find various models and I explain the differences in scale also various versions of the Spit MK 1, V , IX ect and levels of difficulty.
After about 15 minutes chooses one and we both head for the cash and exit.
Then he says: "Oh I am gonna need some glue too"
So I show him the glue display and also tell him about the FS website and explain that, he can ask questions ect. I then tell him that I have to go but the nice guy at the cash can help him with his glue question.
He looks at me and says: "Don't you work here?"
I reply: "No"
He looks at me and says: "Well you darn well should and thank you!"
Made my day!
