It's a busy day at Oshkosh for arrivals. Give a listen. You're gonna wonder how everyone keeps track of each other.
OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...
mawright20Happy Birthday, and gift. My only time there was as a crew member on a C-130 in 2006.
Wow! You were able to fly into Oshkosh! I hope to do a ride-hopper while I am there so I can see the whole thing from the air. Too cool.
Thanks, Toshi.
Great gift from a greater wife! Enjoy your birthday gift.

Well, y'all, gettin' old ain't for the weak, that's for sure.
I was emailing back and forth with Reilly the other day. The first flight of the XP-82 is supposed to take place next week. I wish I could be there but the event is for investors and sponsors only. One reason I am so excited about going to Oshkosh is that the XP-82 will make its public debut that week. The B-29 "Doc" will be at Oshkosh too. What would really be awesome is if both airplanes could fly together! I did a couple of Google searches and could not find any pictures of P-82s and B-29s together, so Oshkosh would be a first.
72 ?
Wait till you hit 75 like me , or like Don 80 . Geez ! have you noticed the age car is going over the speed limit but the body feels slower and more fragile ?
Oskosh , B'gosh ! ! Well , I will be looking forward to them photos . Oh , and Happy Boithday and keep that Mrs. , She's a good un '
That's great! I haven't been to Oshkosh in a number of years. Hate to drive long distance any more- I am 80. A local travel agency and Sun Country Airlines used to have a special excursion- a one day flight from Minneapolis to Oshkosh, leave early morning, leave in evening after Air Show. What a nice way to see the meet.

She's the best. I'm gonna have to buy a new pair of sneakers and get 'em broke in.

To be sure! Sometimes, though, I'm at a loss as to why she's kept me around for 35 years...

Thanks, man...
Cool, congratualtions on your birthday
Today I am seventy-two years old. Who would have thought I'd get this far, but I did. I've been feeling kinda bummed about getting old lately. Yeah, yeah, I know the alternative. My lovely wife took me to dinner at a seafood place I really enjoy. Had the seafood platter with a side of clam strips. Yum! When we got home I had a nip of Coopers Mark whiskey and my wife presented me with a birthday gift. It seemed odd, a T-shirt for the 2018 AirVenture. Nice shirt too. Then came the second part of the gift: Two days at the fly-in!! Yeah! My wife is taking me to Oshkosh! My head is spinning. I'm kinda dizzy. I should have figured it out when I unfolded the T-shirt. I don't get a shirt or a cap unless I've been to a place. Wow! Haven't been back to Oshkosh since 1989. This is going to be so exciting! I'll take lots of pictures for y'all.
