Stopped at the WNC Air Museum in Hendersonville,it was small gem run by volunteer aviation buffs.Really well done,a mix of replicas and original planes.Nice artifacts and photos.Also some scale models on display."perhaps I could donate some of mine".A small gift shop,not big,but a great place to bring the kids.
The real treat was that the pilot was taking her Stearman out for a spin.Able to watch take off and landing from the small grass field,really cool to watch and listen to her fire it up.
