Plaza Japan has it for $60.34....
Another to consider is sealmodel.com
I just got the Tamiya F-14A 1/48 there for $77US including shipping. I believe they are based in China.
kensar I have found Hobbylinc to have the best prices, but order processing is slow. Not a big deal to me.

Meh... scalehobbyist has better prices than Hobbylinc. The trouble with Hobbylinc, they don’t always have what I’m looking for. Now Lucky Model on the other hand has even better prices than scalehobbyist. However the s&h is what sets you back. Plaza Japan is another good one for hard to find kits.
Can't tell you how many times this has been asked on this forum,so here we go again.
Spruebrothers
Scalehobbyist
Sincere hobby
Squadron
Freetime hobbies
Ebay
Kensar
My go to’s are Sprue Bros, Scale Hobbyist, and Squadron.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
I find the most paint range avaulable on Scalehobbyist. Always check Amazon too.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Agree with above and will add upscale hobbies for cars/bikes.
Thanks,
John
BlackSheepTwoOneFourSo many to choose from. I’m sure everyone has ordered from these sites: Squadron Sprue Brothers Scalehobbyist Megahobby
That top 4 are my go-to picks, leading with Scalehobbyist which usually has the lowest prices. I've found all four to be attentive and to give excellent service: my purely personal problem seems to be that most of what I find myself looking to order from Squadron or Sprue Bros. Is out of stock or 'in stock soon.'

Of course there is still eBay and Amazon too.
You have to make you’re own decision by shopping around and finding the best price you feel is fair. There are more out there if you know where to look.
Every single online store I mentioned are very good stores for all your hobby needs.
Hi all, I'd like to know what mail order outlets that are honest and affordable. I just had a horrible experience with one which I won't mention (unless you want to know or if it's allowed to post) I've found the local hobbyshops are pricey, almost double of what I've seen online and ebay. Could use some advise here to get hooked up with a reputable outlet that won't cost me money for nothing.
