How about the Generals who were ordering meaningless offensives right up to the last minute with many dying minutes before the armistice

My wife's paternal Grandfather served in the Army during the war. Her father was born 15 months later. He served in the next big one.

A big salute to all veterans.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

11/11/1918 - 100 years ago WW1 ended. Today made me ponder with sadness the impact WW1 invoked my beloved grandfather who served in the Army during the war. I have no known information whether he saw action overseas but only have a picture of him in uniform. Such a happy fellow. I still miss him to this day since he passed away in 1980.

Lest we never forget those who sacrificed their lives during both World Wars.
