I am sooo frustrated. I simply can't build any more. My hands are trembling so much that I messed up totally my last buld. I was close to smashing it. My hands are shaking so much I simply could't put any piece in place, antenas, hatch coveres, guns...there were glue traces everywhere as my hands were shaking and moving uncontrolably all over the place. Even resting/supporting them on the table doesn't help any more and typing this is also getting difficult as my hands are shaking I hit the wrong key. Work was also harder then usual, when I wanted to measure patients range of motion my hands were shaking. That is less of a problem but fine movements are just an exercise in frustration. I had these tremors for the last 15 yrs or so but they are really getting bad lately. Going to see a doc soon.
Sorry to hear that. Do get to a doctor for sure. My father in law had a similar issue and it turned out to be a vitamin B deficiency.

I also have tremors doing fine work. I have learned to brace my hands againts something solid on the workbench. If my arms are not holding up my hands, the tremors seem greatly reduced. I also find I must limit my time at the modeling bench, taking more breaks, when I am doing fine work.

Yup.... one more on that. Take a break, get it dealt with, adjust as needed, then come back to the hobby when you can, AND when you are ready.

Sorry to hear about your issues, hopefully you can get it under control.
I know the modeling itch bites a lot, so perhaps you can change the type of kits you construct. I know I get a lot of enjoyment out of the Bandai Star Wars kits. They are simple to build and can be built without painting.
There are probably several kits similar to this line in the genre that appeals to you.

I'm blind in my left eye and deaf in my left ear, but luckily (over the years) I have grown accustomed to it. Hopefully your condition will be a simple diagnosis. I sure hope you can get past this to get back to a happier way of life.
CN, ditto to what others have said. Please let us know what the doc has to say. I will keep you in my thoughts. I too have a tremor in my right (dominant) hand that can be troublesome at times, but it's doable for now.

Castelnuovo I can relate to your frustration . My tremmors are do to Parkinson's. My tremors are mostly in the left hand,which is a B because I'am a lefty. Starting to get some in the right hand.By all means get to the Doc.
My plan for modeling is to work on 1/35 scale for as long as I can than move to 1/24 scale and I have a 1/6 scale jeep kit I'm saving for later.
