Like anything in life, certain smells, places, or things will jog your memory and put you back in time.  This card below is of a QB for the Atlanta Falcons Matt Ryan.  My son purchased a very expensive high end football card box called Triple Threads by Topps.  Just one box that contain about 6 to 8 cards was purchased by my son in 2012 as a Christmas present for $200.00.  When I pulled this card I was floored as Matt Ryan had a great career in 2012 and this card happens to be a 18/18 card to be produced plus the factor that it contains a piece of Matt Ryan's game worn jersey makes this card very emotionally special card to me.

This next card is if Robert Griffin III or more famously known as RG3.  He was a first round second pick Heismen Trophy winner in 2012.  2012 was a very special year for QB's as there are other drafted QB's like the first round first pick Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts and Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks.  I was lucky enough to have Mrs. Toshi to not only support my hobby of football cards, she also purchased and chose which hobby box to purchase.  She had the Midas touch.  Here is what was pulled in the packs that was purchased.

The first card was amazingly incredible as the 2012 Crown Royal by Panini cards were a Walmart purchase by Mrs. Toshi.  This was a unexpected surprise!  As you can see in the photo, the card is numbered 107/299.  He currently is a back up QB to Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens.

This RG3 card came from a sports card shop.  It's a 2012 Panini Limited Jumbo Rookie card numbered to 12/49 and is what's called a 3 color jersey patch.  Once again Mrs. Toshi's King Midas touch worked!

This next display is what's called a complete set.  These are known as chase cards as you would have to purchase random boxes of Panini Score Football boxes in 2012 from Target only.  Not every box contained these specialty cards, but having Queen Midas with me, Mrs. Toshi picked and chose the boxes.  Now this is like finding a needle in a haystack.  Mrs. Toshi's purchase of the Panini Score box (Every single time) contained a Rookie of the Week card.  Week one was of course RG3.

Hi Toshi, what is a liberty "walking" dollar.

I long to live in a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned

Dodgy

Hi Toshi, what is a liberty "walking" dollar.

This photo below is what's called a Liberty Walking 1 ounce of 99.99 Pure Silver Dollar.  The way numismatic works is that the cost of the coin is determined in the type of material it's made of.  In this case of the Silver 99.99 1 ounce Walking Liberty dollar is the market value in silver.  In my humble opinion, the next standard of coinage material that can count for high stake premiums is none other than gold.  Gold coins are measured in it's Troy ounce market value of which gold has skyrocketed for decades.  But the ultimate material coinage that commands a premium is Platinum coins.

Platinum coins that are minted must be purchased directly with dealers or on the secondary market in which dealers will auction platinum coins.  Once again eBay is a very safe and reputable online source to utilize.  They guarantee a money back gaurantee as well as a 100% customer satisfaction.  I've purchased Sports Cards, Styrene Kits, Coins, Stamp, and other items with never any issues or concerns via eBay.  The other method that demands a premium is how many coins were created and what amount exists.  Many coins were melted by the USA government during war time shortages for it's material.  Copper for bullets casings as an example.  So whats known as population or the amount of coins available to collect is used as a standard to ultimately decide what a coin is worth.

Finally, here is a photo to your question on what is a Walking Liberty Dollar is.  From my understanding the depiction of lady liberty in static movement makes it seem like she's walking hence the numismatic term just like a buffalo nickel or a wheat cent.

There are other terms like Kennedy dollar for JFK, Ike dollar, Lincoln penny and so on.

This next 2 cards are from a complete set from 1 to 100 Upper Deck SP Authentic.  The first card is of RG3.  The second card is of Russel Wilson QB of the Seattle Seahawks.  This second card has a premium attached to it because it's not only considered a rookie card, Russell Wilson has taken the Seattle Seahawks to the Super Bowl.  All these cards depict each player in their Alumni collegiate uniform prior to be drafted in the NFL.

This next card is what's known as a booklet because it's folds like a book.  Out of sheer curiosity I purchased whats known in the sports card collecting world as a hobby box.  This card is of a position NFL rookie Robert Turbin RB for the Seattle Seahawks in 2012.  This product is from the Panini sports card company.  They are a European company that started as a soccer card for Europe, they then currently own the Franchise NFL card producing rights of which made Topps a well known American sports card company out of the picture.  That's too bad because as a collector, I really enjoyed Topps brands Chrome and Platinum series.

This card was very special to me.  There is a card shop here in Streetsboro, Ohio called Collectors Palace that Mrs. Toshi and I used to visit.  They had a very expensive Hobby Box by Panini called "Black".  There were only two available and one box had been open but the cards were still in its protective seal.  Mrs. Toshi to my shock not only purchased the Panini Black, she chose the open box, to my shock we pulled whats known as a hit.  A very rare and collectible card of Andrew Luck.  This particular card is a rookie card and has his autograph and a piece of his game worn jersey As well as being numbered.  By pulling this card, not only did we get a very fine collectible but if we decide to sell this card, we would make back our initial purchase plus gain a hefty profit.

This next card also came from the same Panini Black hobby box and portrays two veteran super stars. Matt Forte and the very well known Walter Payton in which his life was portrayed in a movie called Brian's Song!

This next card is very unique as it depicts Renegade of Florida State University.  The actual card is depicted on silk.

I recieved this next card as a prize on a website called Cardboard Connection.  The contest was how many Matt Forte cards do you have and I won but when I was contacted by Cardboard Connection, I thanked them and told them of my story of my TBI injury and how collecting football cards and building kits helped with my memory and fine motor skills hand coordination.  The owners brother in-law happened to be in the same situation as myself.  He mentioned his wife was a nurse and when he told his wife about my incedent, she cried due to the fact that her brother was also a TBI patient but he did not want to do rehab as he just felt it was a waste of time.  I told them to encourage and support him.  I hope he got better as I sent a prayer his way and wished the family the best for him.
