Being Needed
Posted by Tanker-Builder on Thursday, February 4, 2021 7:36 AM

Guys;and Ladies:

Guess what? I found out yesterday how nice it is to be needed! My Landlady( And Secretly Loved person) is a very deep thinking woman. NEEDED ME yesterday. She had to go to the doctor for a Procedure I won't go into.

I had forgotten how nice it is to feel that you do matter. No matter what the reason. I slept so good last night when I got her safely home and in her own room again. Never let it be said that you feel un-loved or un-needed. Be there for someone you do care for even if it's only just a little thing.

You will feel much better for it.

That's true.  sometimes you can be needed by people that you don't know and stumble on, someone that you may not be that fond of or even like that much, the occasion of them needing help just happens.  What matters is what you do about it.  Do you help the stranger or disliked person, or just walk away.  Do you try to help or not?  Helping someone is usually the right thing to do, but sometimes you might have to consider the options and results as well as the person in question.  It's not always easy.

Got married in 74, divorced in 82.  Remarried, and lasted 27 years before she passed.  Three years later, the ex needed someone in her corner.  Now back together and happier than before.

You're right, great feeling to be needed, wanted, or help someone else
