And the countries of the world that cannot afford such things will fight in older ways. Those people in areas who decide that they will rise up against the powers that are in charge will use the same methods that they use now against professional military forces with superior equipment. Throw in zealous belief or religion that suicide warfare to kill your enemy or die for whatever supreme leader is the ultimate honor. Are the armored powered suits of Heinliein's novel, bristling with technology and weapons, in our future? Probably one day. But not everyone will have the ability to create them. Nations are somewhat to very reluctant to share their latest cutting edge military technology and weaponry with others.

Have you EVER wondered?

In  a Future battle the soldiers look like machines( Maschinen Kreiger?)

Have you ever wondered how that thinking came about? Think now, Look how much gear a Soldier or Marine has to carry on his Body these days. With all that and Body armor too? Geez Louise!

A machine into which he either stands in or sits in, which can carry all he needs and then some. The trick is to make where he sits as survivable as possible. Then he goes out does his mission and returns safely and without any injuries.

The suits could possible carry way more extra Ammo, Rations, Radiation and Blast protection and Med packs than he can now. Plus the man or woman in question would not have to worry about limb injuries from enemy weapons of the ordinary variety.

Sure they would be costly. But the Militaries of the world need to stop thinking that the populations of their respective countries are breeding "Cannon Fodder". A human Life is worth far more than that, and anyone that argues otherwise is a cold hearted, Well, you know. I have been fascinated in Armor Suits since I saw my first real suit of Medieval Armor. Ah, who"s to say?
