Hi Ya'll;
Hey, lets talk about emblems, mainly on a specific large purchase for the Family. Yup, Cars! Now we all know that there is Ford's " Blue Oval" Right? Chevy's "Bow Tie", again Right? Plymouth used to be a "Sailing Ship". Olds a " Rocket" Am I correct so Far?
Okay, Look around you folks . How many brands carry the Black Oval? How about the lettered Oval, or the Lettered Circle? These are the most brand identifiers around. That's why in a " Hit and Run" folks arent sure what Kind of car it is. Sure with trucks it's easier. Ford's got the Oval, Dodge has got the ram. Toyota says the name all over the truck and Honda-Same as their car! Chevy,and G.M.C. Well, there's a no Brainer One says G.M.C which stands for General Motors Corporation and the other ( the Bow Tie) for a division that uses Mostly the same parts!
The very fancy cars had at one time raised emblems.The Mercedes "Tri Star",Chr ysler's "Penta Star" And of course who can forget the Prancing Horse( Ferrari) or the " Spirit of Extacy" for Rolls Royce. But they have gotten so plain and cheap you Cannot tell them apart at a glance. Besides the Toyota, I guess Ford and G.M. have the squarest Large S.U.V.s ( Dare we say "Suburban's" anymore?)
