More like The Rocketeer! Combine that with the load bearing exoskeleton suits that the US Army has been working on and we are another step closer to Heinlein's Cap' Troopers.

They also have to make it simple to operate and free the wearer's hands so he can use weapons while flying.  If not he's a sitting duck while airborne.

The thing that bothers me is that there is no autorotation if the engine quits.  If you are higher than you are willing to fall, you have a problem.

I see a few tactical issues that would need to be addressed, namely the ability to operate weapons during approach and immediately upon landing in case the boarding is opposed, and the noise of the approach. But talk about futuristic stuff!
