 Licensed-Car 

 Licensed -Expired- Ships to 160,000 tons loaded, Stopped captaining forty five years ago.

 License-Expired- Aircraft-Unlimited, Heart grounded me.

 License-Valid- Heavy Equipment and other large earth moving machines. Two years left

 Licensed-Valid-Trucks to 55 ft.plus tractor. Four years left.

 Licensed-Valid-Salvage ships and Vessels to 400 ft. One year left.

Licensed I hope,-For--Waking Up one more day,-Umlimited.

 Oh-Forgot three. -Licensed-Unlimited(or till I can't walk)-Driving a Golf Ball down the fairway! And the one I was sorriest to lose. Licensed on Mix to 250 feet ( Ten minute bottom time). Licensed to 100 ft.Regular single tank Scuba rig.  Heart condition got both cancelled!So-No more salvage diving either!-Even on Hookah!

I can't get a CDL here because of mine, not that I'd want one.

Motorbikes, cars - nice and legal, trucks with air brakes and multi-speed trannys, no trailers - expired, a (farm) tractor - in a pinch...

   Told my ex girlfriend " if it has wheels I can drive it" she proceeded to hand me the VCR which had Top Gun all wound up in it. Go figure lol.

     Cars, semis, forklifts, aricraft tractors and powe dollies, wheelbarrow, push lawn mower but I have to be up before my wife to operate those heehee. Obviously NOT VCRS LOL.

Licenced: cars, motorcycles( tho, I haven't been able to ride in decades. Back issues.)  Class B trucks ( if it's a single vehicle up to 160, 000 LBS ..Yes, I have driven quite a few " super- loads )

And I can pull a trailer attached to the above trucks, as long as the trailer is less than 10,000 LBS.  ( in private life I have no trailer limit... only when pulling commercially.

Un-licenced: heavy equippment( back- hoe's, wheel loaders , forklifts, overhead cranes( lifting up to 100 ton's)

Dangerously under qualifyed:  I took a few aviation classes back in the day. I did pretty good in the helicopter simulator...

But, I had a heck of a time maintaining my altitude. ( I found myself flying at 100 feet below sea level. My instructor said, " as long as we say you were flying in Death Vally, you pass".)

I did operate a scissor lift unsupervised once - I didn't realize the steering truck was turned 180 degrees, so I wondered why the control inputs were all reversed.  Almost got stuck next to a building while maneuvering.  Parked too far from the exterior wall and had to take quite a step to get on the roof.

Only other motorized stuff I drove are go carts and lawn mowers.  I did take RC flying lessons, but didn't pursue the hobby after I got certified.

Aside from my PE stamp, the only other license I have is for recreational scuba diving.  I did log 100 feet once, just because I wanted it in my dive log.

I wasn't licensed for it, but I used to drive my elementary school teachers crazy.

Licensed to drive a car, fork truck and a small jitney type vehicle called a "tugger" made by a company called "Pack Mule" if you want to look that thing up.

I have my military license. It is for M113 FOV (family of vehicles), M2/3 Bradley, M48/60, M1, M88A1, HMMWV, FMTV and the older 5 ton truck. By default, I could operate the smaller deuce and a half, but have never driven one. I also had to get a license for a 4x4 Jeep Cherokee because it had 4x4 capability. This GSA license also covered regular sedans.

Unofficially I have some time in the right seat of a B-727.

Could make a go at M-1A1. I had the controls explained to me while I sat in it.

Same with a ZSU-24.

I've done ok with all the shuttle simulators and LEM simulators I've flown.

I've operated varuious boats under 25ft, but it's never a pleasent experiance for me or the boat owners.

I've been on Autoclub speedway, Chuckwalla and Willow springs a couple times  

Drag raced my 2009 Charger at 490 RWHP @ 11.5 in the quarter mile  at auto club drag way and Barona 1/8 mile 

San Diego drags at Qualcomm 

Road tested my 2009 Charger at 700 RWHP with the new build  

Operated a forklift and front end loader as a boy  
And finally took the controls on a Cessna 150 and a little chopper out of San Marcos

That is an automatic issue with no test or experience required, as soon as the " I do " is said.  That goes for all males of the species.

Sometimes it also works in reverse.

My best friend's wife taught us to drive stick in 20 minutes.  They even had a steep hill near their house to practice the dreaded "full stop at top, then shift into gear and move foward" maneuver.  That was the only difficulty I had.  It took 3 tries.  I credit video games with stick shift (and clutch) for the ease we had in learning.

But my friend drives his wife crazy too.

I grew up in Vermont, a hilly state. The hill stop was part of our driver license test. Originally designed to make sure you could start a manual transmission car on a hill without rolling backwards, it still was a part of the test four years later when my brother took his test and automatics were more commonplace.

If I recall, we stopped on a hill that had a place to pull off. You put the car into neutral and engaged the parking brake. Then you released your foot brake and theoretically you didn't roll backwards and the parking brake held you in place.

Then came the hard part. You put the car into gear, put your foot on the brake, released the parking brake, signaled a left turn, looked over your shoulder, to see if traffic was clear.

Then you gave some clutch as you released your foot brake (here's the pass/fail part) and you were supposed to not roll back anymore than a few inches. In theory your transmission was holding you in place. And then you pulled out into traffic without stalling.

I trained my brother on my mom's Citation with automatic transmission and it was too easy. I did it with my dad's gunboat Chevy station wagon with 3 on a tree standard shift.

Well in my life I have drove all types of trucks.Some with 3 sticks,2 sticks well working constrution.Other while driving out on the road.Drove heavy equipment bulldozers and ect...Polited tugs out in the habours when I was younger.I really don't think there is a piece of equipment I can't drive that has been made for the road.
