Somehow I missed your birthday pst yesterday TB. So I'll wish you a heartfelt if somewhat delayed Happy Birthday! wishes today!

I hope things other than the bad singing went well yesterday!

Hmmm.

S'funny, I don't notice anything different. Same Aches, Same Pains. Same number of trips to the office for relief. Well, the list goes on. But Ya know what? I feel great that I have another day! That way I can think about modeling stuff and working out modeling problems. And sharing all that hard learned Information and Hit and Miss, successes and failures with you as well.

Thought about this when I was sitting yesterday being the brunt of a badly but lovingly given rendition of " Happy Birthday" By my Landlady and her Daughter. I have now been modeling fo 71 years with only a few breaks for Uncle Sam and Work!! Boy has the hobby changed. I remember being surprised when My local Hobby Shop started offering Binks Wren Air-Brushes for sale.

I mean C'mon, this was an Airbrush that Illustrators and Detail Painters used! The fact is the hobby has attracted many tool Mfgr's. Now that they know their tools Can be used on Models. For some, it had to be proven to them. I remember Blackand Decker saying in a letter that the R.P.M. on their Battery Powered drill from over twenty years ago. In a short film I proved to them that it could be nursed along at about Twenty or Thirty R.P.M. by using a feather touch on the trigger.

Then they went and changed the body so it was not as useful for the modeling purpose it was perfect for. Which was drilling in a fixed height for ship's prop Shaft openings or Tank Rifles in a jig! Oh well, live and learn. Well, my coffee's finished( My favorite cup is empty) so I will wash out the cup and check with ya'll later,Bye
