ugamodels

I just got cataract surgery in both eyes and now my distance vision is 20/15! But I do have to use 2.25 reading glasses for small print. But my distance vision is even better than with glasses. This is amazing!

Yep, I am now 20:15 in one eye, but only 20:20 in the other.  The neat thing is that the reading prescription is the now same in both eyes, so I can buy my readers at a dollar store.  I keep a range of two different powers for medium close and really close on my bench.

I type on a tablet. Please excuse the terseness and the autocorrect. Not to mention the erors.

Yep.  More brightness is always better for vision.

Great news TB. I'm in the same situation as waynec, only with very shaky hands as well.

 Well:

Went to my Opthalmologist yesterday. Cataracts have stopped advancing for some reason. Long time to maturity. Eye pressure Normal! Holding at 20-25. Doc and I talked about the different glasses advertised as adjustable for close work. The Pair I recommended he has tried and He recommends!
