Does anyone know if the group that published those two magazines still exists?  They still have a website but I cannot seem to contact the site.

Don, it looks like both pubs folded in 2015-16. There's an explanatory letter from the Aero editor here.

They dissolved the organization and turned the remaining assets over to the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome.

Went to that site. Bad news is that the only literature available are two coffee table books- no back issues of WW1 aero or Skyways.  Hope those resources don't just turn to mold.

Don't know how current their stocks are, but back issues seem to be on the 'blog' extension of the site:
