I think that can happen when your IP address renews at one location or another.  I get that mostly on my work computer because the IP of our VPN changes pretty regularly.

I've had times where I would have to log in again but just figured it was because of some maint. thing they were doing to the forums.  There have been the occasional times when I would go to reply to someone and find out that there was no reply button to use for that person.  In that case I would just come back later in the hopes that someone else had replied and I would just go after that person.

I did discover that by going to the person above I could use that reply button and it would add me in below the last one.

I frequently had problems logging into the forums, or at least something like that.

I would start up the forums, and it identified me by name and icon.  However, any time I tried to reply to a message I got an invite to sign up for the forms.  Finally I noticed that it only happened when I was at my kidney dialysis clinic.  I remembered that once before I had tried to access a streaming service that I subscribed to, and I got the message "this service only available in US".

I asked a technician there whether their internet is from a service in US.  He said no, it comes from a VPN based in Germany.  Sure enough in checking, this happens only when I am at the clinic.  I never have the problem at home.  So I no longer use the forum at the clinic.  Anyone else have this problem?
