Hmmm, a jet powered train engine?  Or is that a trolley?  Imagine the thrust required to get moving from a dead stop.

New York Central tried putting a B-52 engine pod on a Budd rail diesel body.Worked bit it was very noisy and consumed too much fuel not to mention the fire hazard.

The Great Race is one of my favorite comedy movies. It had all osrts of people you could see in various TV shows and movies of the time.

I normally don't build trains but if someone made a kit of the jet powered engine, I'd make it, and that Professor Fate kit would be great too.
