Heh heh, sorry but she didn't turn into a submersible!  She is out of the game for a bit tho.

The Russians have officially confirmed her loss. So unless they have Dirk Pitt and NUMA on their payroll, she is out of it for keeps.

Speaking of submersibles, have you seen the ex-USS The Sullivans, in Buffalo lately? Apparently she has some serious leakage going on.

"Why do I do this? Because the money's good, the scenery changes and they let me use explosives, okay?"

Onboard damage control was probably nonexistent.

Huh, I read online that she limped back to base.  So she sank?  Okay, so the box art is authentic.

The Russians really bought the farm there. Largest surface combatant sunk since WW2,

About the same size as ARA Belgrano but much more complex and presumably able to better defend herself.

Only takes one.... Think back to the IJN Akagi, one near miss midships, another that went through the netting around the flight deck aft, both on portside. They think the one after causes rudder problems later.

The one that got her went through the elevator by the island, apparently got the CO2 system and got fires started to on both hanger decks.

Not much on a warship that appreciates fire and explosions.
