Still mildly recovering myself....picked it up at the beginning of January, with really only minor symptoms, until about 5 days in, when I couldn't sleep.  Had the wife take me to the hospital, where they diagnosed me with "some pneumonia" and unless I was sitting still, low oxygen-it would drop into the 80's upon even the slightest exertio, otherwise it was mid 90's.

they admitted me for ten days, but I never felt "sick", just kinda worn out.  Sat there on my hospital bed for those ten days using Netflix and Hulu to pass the time. A course of steroids and blood thinners was pretty much all it took to get me out, although I did leave the hospital on 4 liters of O2.  I spent the next three months sitting around the house waiting to be approved to return to work by my pulmonologist, and gradually improving.  I'm off the supplemental O2 (although I do have a portable concentrator for as needed, and use the main concentrator with my CPAP, because....why not...and I still get winded from time to time, but, other than that, I'm back to abnormal!

good luck with the recovery, and watch your O2 levels!

Guys, thank you all! GMorisson, that looks just like me, all dressed up in PPE. Not all patients require it, but quite a few.

I guess the great guy upstairs had some plans for me and instructed me somehow to buy 6 boxes of paper tissue instead of just 1 that Mrs. C told me to buy. LOL.

Thank you again all Smile

You will be fine. My son, his wife and both grandkids had it and all recovered pronto. My wives cousins husband up in Jersey had it and recovered just fine even having health issues. This crap is unfortunately here to stay. Angry

Wish you a speedy recovery so get cranking on some builds. All the best!

I hope you get well soon - I've had it when there was no vaccine yet, but have recovered after two weeks. Now I actually remember the isolation quite fondly - lots of time to make models, no need to walk the dog or do the shopping, lots of sleep - good times! I don't think about the fever, sweats or headache anymore - turns out that wasn't that bad after all - and I realize I was very lucky. I wish you as much luck as I have had!

I am the project manager (private firm) for a County hospital. We have dozens of construction projects that have to be done irrespective of the pandemic, such as converting nurse call duty stations to digital input on fiber from twisted wire. The list goes on and on. Then there's isolation infection control layered on top. and on and on.

I will probably wear a mask all day every day till who knows when, except at home with my dogs and my wife.

I'm really burnt out. I came out of retirement to join an architecture firm, mostly to havr pocket money on top of retirement savings but also to get us through this.

Not many are dying anymore, but long term symptoms are not known.

Stay home, rest and know you will be back on the front lines again.

But I was hoping I won't be positive on a covid test. Well Censored, I tested positive 2 days ago. Now I have high fever, coughing and sneezing and generally feel line being hit by a truck. Must be off work for 5 days min as the last thing we need is covid on the ward.
