Meet Leonidas
Posted by snapdragonxxx on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 5:58 AM

I have been away for a short time. Not anywhere but just struggling with my *** a little.

I am still working on the lancaster and Sven, owner of 1manarmy has all the decals from the box and is making stencils out of them. I will get a couple of sets to play with for the Lancasters I have and he will add them to his growing paint stencil set at some point.

Once of my friends knows that I have been struggling since my dads passing mentally wise and I had a lovely abandoned cat move in with me and she said that "Lucy started making a difference. Unfortunately Lucy was an old cat and not well and on a visit to the PDSA as I was worried that she had stopped eating and had dropped most of her weight in just over 2 weeks a tumour the size of an orange was found which was causing her pain and interrupting her organ function. I took the decision to send her to the big cattery in the sky to help her and stop the pain and distress.

My friend saw the sadness as Lucy and I had bonded and so she has presented me with a fantastic little kitten.... Then gone to the Dominican Republic with her husband for 2 weeks!

Meet Leonidas, feet attacker supreme!

Can you see how he got his name?

He is a feisty chap already and exploring everywhere he is allowed.

He knows what a scratching post is already...

Has mastered stairs within 12 hours of arrival...

I put him on the bed, went to the toilet and came back to see that he has climbed onto my workbench, through the blind and was looking at climbing through the open window and on to the roof outside!

I only have one issue and that although he should, I believe, be eating solid Whiskas kitten food, he is ignoring it but the kitten milk I have as a standby he knows what that is and can drink it from a bowl. I think he may be also chewing on the cat litter, but he knows how to use the litter tray.

He is supposedly 8-9 weeks old and is quite small I think and I have really no idea how to get him to eat.

On the other hand, he is a genuine cuddle bug, has started puring at his dad when cuddling is going on (not long, but it is a start), and greets me by rubbing his head against my hand. As I write this he is lying on my workbench cuddling up to my right arm and snoozing.

He takes an active role in fighting with my shoes and climbing around them so I want to train him to s*** in Russian Soldiers boots, attack and bite their feet and then run off into the bushes. This I am sure would help the Ukranian army! You can almost see the news headlines:

Special Cat Squadron deployed in Ukraine. Thousands of Russian Soldiers surrender after mad night of cat bites, attacks and ruined boots. Putin asks for diplomatic solution!   :laughing-rolling:

now finally I can get my packages "cat scanned".

Comments, questions and HELP greatly appreaciated!

Sorry to hear about your dad and Lucy.  Our pets become our family and your new little guy sounds like a trouble maker in a fun way.  Been to the vet?  Maybe they can give you a accurate age guess and a plan to get him on to the crunchies.   It's the best for their teeth long run.

Thanks,

John

I can tell from the pics that cat is up to no good, and plotting something nefarious!  Of course, I think ALL cats are up to no good and plotting something nefarious!  My girlfriend says I hate cats.  Not true!  They can be entertaining at times, just gotta be on guard as they like to jump out at you and do crazy things when you least expect it.  Glad you have a new friend.  Friends are wonderful things, whether feline, cainine, or (gasp!) human.

He's a little cutie. He looks like he'll make a fine modeling companion for years to come.

Oho!

You know when I met my cat she was stuck in a set of blinds like that. Couldn't get herself out. Ruined one set of perfectly good old blinds. Had to get the small ones to keep her out. I trained"??" her to sit in the cover of a model box when we are working. She Purrs loud enough in her older years I can play fly an Airplane or Drive a car and she provides all sound except take-off Power LOL.LOL.!!

GORGEOUS little moggie, mate. Love it!

Do yourself a favor - check out Jackson Galaxy on the tube - the dude from "My Cat From Hell".

He has TONS of tips that will keep your lovely litle furry beastie from BECOMING a cat from hell. We did....it WORKS!!! Our gorgeous cats (a rescue bonded pair) are just amazing, because we've done everything he's said to KEEP them from becoming bored and a nightmare - I can't imagine our lives without them. The deep purring melts our hearts.

Encourage "cuddle time". It will make you live longer - the love they give is priceless.

Thanks for sharing the pics pf your beautiful little nutcase - just lovely!!!

Cheers, mate!

Cheers, LeeTree
