That's awesome news and hopefully the improvement just keeps on rolling! Chronic pain is no fun and sooo glad you got some relief.

We have a friend who was Air Force CSAR and was in multiple helicopter crashes with resulting spinal damage. He has done the nerve burning treatments you describe and has also received what I believe to be a newer version of that concept. It is called RF ablation and basically they use highly controled and focused RF energy to "burn" nerve endings. It has really helped with his back pain and a treatment seems to be good for about six months with his issues.

Again, I hope the improvement continues and it leads to more fun at the workbench!

I have the same problem, but I do get pains.  But they are all referred pains, in right arm or left side of thorax.  PT has done a great job of minimizing it with no surgery.

One PT thing I learned is to minimize time looking down, if you are a senior.  That meant lowering my workbench chair.  Not as good as before, but that is price I have to bear.  Also I keep my recliner chair and car seat very upright.  Helped a lot!

Hi Ben:

        Well, falling off a roof of a two story house on a slope and on the high side wasn't in my plans that day either! Luckily I did fall into a pile of other than Wood Debris. Like tree branches and stuff like that. If I had hit the ground, I probably would have the fastest motorised Wheel-Chair around.

Hi Ikar01;

         Yes, although they are just another form of steroid I think. The ones in my Lower back, Burned out at the point where they exit the spine. Yes, they were chemically disconnected. That way other nerves would no longer be affected and Life could return to a Albeit slower rythm. Couldn't prove that by me though. My walking distance went up from a quarter mile to over six , every day!

Now just to make this clear, we are not having a contest on who can hurt themselves the most. I thought I took one to the chin for everyone with my broken feet and wrist, but I think you were trying to be an over achiever!

It's really nice to hear positive news from fellow modeling friends. Now put that cape away and stop trying to fly off of the roof. You did hear the saying, "If  God wanted us to fly, he would've given us wings", right?

And you should know that there are easier ways to get time off to model more. Seriously, it is nice to hear the good news....

Well ! Surprise, Surprise !!

Hey Everyone.

        Did I get a surprise today! Turns out this was like Exploratory surgery! Yeah, I got the Needles in my neck, between the Vertabra! But this was a preliminary to see how well it affected me. Well, Everything is Crunchies!( I had no idea my neck could make so much Bone on Bone Noise!). There is crunching every time I turn my neck or look up.(Which, The looking up, I couldn't do before.!)

       But the beauty! No Pain! I mean none! This portends good things in the future.This means Like the lower back, I can get the Steroids and Nerve burn shots and NO SURGERY !! I will definitely go for that. So to quote myself after a fall from two stories and no injury,"Hey! What was the license number of that Bus!"? LOL.LOL. Next visit I get the permanent procedures! YAY !!

      I definitely appreciate the concern. So I guess the good will and prayers did work! Thanks Ya'll
