Hey Bill!

Thanks for the info. I had noticed the ridges you speak of and I thought that is what they were. Thank You for clarifying that. And, yes, I will have more time to model and pay attention to the GB I started. Thanks for the prayers too!

As to the Service, that was a plus. This country is still the greatest, even if a good portion has their heads screwed on wrong. I wasn't a citizen even at sixteen and a half and didn't even know it! That was solved the day I took the oath and is very cherished by me. If my Mom hadn't tried to get here, I would've grown up in what was known as the part of the Soviet Union, Mainly Austria!

I have driven the AutoBahn, and little skinny streets in a wee small "Bug" and all the way to my Great grandmas! At the ripe old age of 94 I got to meet her .Still in her own house! ( She was a Doctor).

I'm very sorry about your friend, Gary.

As for the election, sometimes it is an unexpected plus to be relieved of responsibility.

Happy Veterans Day and thatk you for your service.

I built that one, as a wartime boat. It was a blast. If you don't mind, I can give you some tips and post pics. I put the pressure hull in mine, made of piece of plastis soft drink bottle. If you look carefully at the bulkheads, which are made to sort of define the outer hull; there is a faint raised ridge that is the actual pressure hull. I cut them back to there.

Have a good day!

Bill

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

I must do this!

This year so far has been the Pits! I have just suddenly lost another friend. Boy, when ya get older it hits fast don't it? I ask for prayers for his family at this time and also keep praying for my former tresurer at the R.R. Museum. I lost the election. But after three terms it was time anyway.

So now they have a dem. for a leader, Oh Well, I wish them luck. LOL.LOL. There is no party politics there just politics. Nuff fer me. Yay! I am still hobbling around in "The Boot" ( that's what I call it anyway) Spraining an ankle like I did is for the pits too. Doc says just a wee more and it woulda broke!

So, There it is, all the bad news I can lay on ya. Ya know what though? Even though it ain't my boithday, I just recieved the second edition of R.O.Gs Type XX1 Submarine! I believe the first edition of this boat was the Wilhelm Baur? Anyway, I am gonna have fun painting all the little Chotskes! All in 1/144!
