Just points up something my old man taught me as a little shaver: NEVER throw away the paperwork/manual/installation guide/ whatever.
Sure, after he passed we found guides for items that hadn't existed for decades -- a fun 'walk down memory lane' -- but I can't tell you the number of times my butt has been saved by being able to look up an odd instruction, part number...or sometimes the proper way to take a damn thing apart. Just a file folder or notebook tucked away somewhere can save lots of time and grief!
