Space Ranger

Received today (Friday, April 28) the mis-sent items from Mr. Zeller. The space-time continuum has been restored and all is well.

Lovely to hear!

The punitive action teams have been recalled.... Cool

It is always the seller's responsibility to get your merchandise to you.

I would not do any business with them in the future if you don't get a positive result.

The way it sounds Mr. Zeller is the alias of Walter White...

All comments and critique welcomed. Thanks for your honest opinions!

There's a Thomas Zeller from Albuquerque NM who turned up in a random web search as an Army Sergeant at Bagram AB who sent home a Mothers Day video back in 2010.

I'm not going to post the link but it's not hard to find.

It very well could be that he's deployed somewhere and the package is sitting on a table at his mom's house, if it's the guy.

Good luck,

IIRC, if the package received in the mail was addressed to Mr Zeller, it is legally his, whether he ordered the item or not. Just as the item you received in the mail and was addressed to you was legally yours. The screw up was on the part of the seller/sender, and at best you should be entitled to a refund for not receiving the item(s) ordered. Asking you to work it out amongst yourselves is naive and lazy on the part of the seller. Obviously they are not a company that you would want to do business with again. And by this point in time, if it's not too late, you should start the ball rolling on a refund due to you having never received your ordered item.
Sending the package forward to Albuquerque in blind faith without prior contact with Mr Zeller just makes the outlay of money for zero return even worse. You may yet still hear from Mr Zeller, or even better receive your wayward missent item without any prior contact. But who knows if the address for Mr Zeller is correct, or even any longer current.

I find it odd that the seller would have you switch items.  It's lazy for the seller to ask the customers to fix the problem.  They should have just sent you two the proper items and keep their mistake.  Good luck finding the guy.  The modeling community is small so maybe you'll get lucky.

Mr. Zeller and I both placed orders from the same UK seller at about the same time. Due to a screw-up by Royal Mail, he received my order and I received his. Upon learning of the problem, the seller sent us each other’s postal address so we could exchange the items.

I mailed Mr. Zeller’s order to him on March 28, including a cover letter with my email address and phone number in case he needed to contact me. USPS postal tracking reports that the parcel was “delivered at the front door or porch at 4:04 pm on March 30, 2023 in ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87114.” However, as of today, April 19, I have neither heard from him nor received my items.

If any readers of this forum in the Albuquerque area know Mr. Zeller, I would appreciate it if you could contact him on my behalf and remind him to send my items to me. They are irreplaceable from any other source and were the last such items in the inventory of the seller. Thanks in advance.
