Why are the original posts being erased? Found two like this so far, from the same OP.

Nevermind, I found the thread that turned sideways.

Because he was trolling to see if he could stir up arguments, got called out, and collected his jacks and went home.

I see! So my well thought out, balanced, reasoned, informative response to one of the threads was a waste of my time!

where do I send my bill, and anyone have an email that I can subscribe to every junk mail sender I can find?

If I'm not mistaken, didn't this exact scenario play out a year or two ago?

No you didn't. There were some truly shocking things posted. Not just the usual insults and flaming.

The joke on the OP is that he thinks by deleting his posts, they disappeared. Not.

If I recall corerctly, this is his third or fourth user account. He's spat the dummy several times for being called out for resurrecting ancient threads. This week, he's also pulled up a number of 16 year old threads and put up generic responses as if the question was asked the day before.

Now there's a concise explanation if I ever saw one.

"Ah, I did not know that!" as Johnny Carson used to say.

I'm off-line for a week, and miss all the "good stuff" .

Look's like he took a page out of Photobucket's book...... all his post's are gone.

Do we need to pay a ransom to see what's really going on ?

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Gosh, a lot. Many are duplicates of regularly used colors, some brands were bought for test purposes or a special color, as I'm absolutly no good at mixing colors. What comes out of the bottle is what I get.

White Ensign Enamels 69 tins

Vallejo Model Color acrylics 49 bottles, Model Air 23 bottles

Testors square bottle 20 bottles

Model master acrylics 76 bottles

Model master enamels 65 bottles

Model Master laquers 2 bottles

Tamiya acrylics 15 bottles

Tru North enamels 6 bottles

LifeColor acrylics 6 bottles

AK acrylics 1 bottle

Plus clearcoats, thinners, additives and rattle cans, etc.

And a few items on the bench and in the spray booth

Somewhere around 315 paints plus all the oddball stuff.

Wow, even surprised me.

Tons of mostly Tamiya acrylics. I mix my own colors, so the lack of specific colors is not an issue.

I recently discovered a LHS which is a good source for all things Gunze. I'm slowly collecting the Mr Color line bottle by bottle.

Over the years I have accquired an extensive array of Vallejo Model Color acrylics.

During the Tamiya scare I collected MM Acryl and have nearly used them up now.

He's apparently back now.  He's restored his profile.  And he replied to me in one of his posts, asking to "end the feud".  I told him there was no feud-he made some posts, people called him out on them, and he decided to pout.

I asked if he'd started building anything, in the meantime and told him if he had, he should post about it.

But it looks like the moderators may have deleted that particular thread, because I don't see it anymore.

This is the one and only time I am going to post about this here or anywhere as I have many, many better things to do than babysit the Forums. Please stop posting about the recent threads that went sideways, and what happened, and why are they like that. It has been addressed and dealt with. Start treating every other member wth respect no matter what has happened in the past; the tit-for-tat stuff ends now.

If I see another report connected with this issue in anyway, I will begin banning the accounts being reported and the person making the report.
